Meet the head coach Sergey Belovol with young athletes Valeria Belovol, Elena Troshneva, and Valentina Sabitova of TMK-Tagmet, an OFSi-sponsored women’s table tennis team of Tagmet, a major steel mill in Southern Russia. Tagmet is a reliable supplier of high quality green and to-grade pipe, as well as finished couplings. In appreciation for the long term, mutually beneficial cooperation OFSi has become a sponsor for the team.
The 2018 European Table Tennis Union Cup, one of the most prestigious European tournaments, took place in Metz, France. TMK-Tagmet overcame tough competition to advance to the ETTU semi-finals. On April 6th, 2018 TMK-Tagmet faced an opposing French team in the second semi-final match.
After showing strong character and determination the team earned the bronze medals, an impressive result in the highly contested European tournament. Undaunted, the dream for the Gold lives on for this team of capable young women.
